Welcome to Cambridge University's Academia Española where you can improve your Spanish. Almost anyone from pupils Years 9-13 to adults wishing to brush up their language skills and deepen their cultural understanding will find this very useful.

HOW DOES THE ACADEMIE WORK?

Inside you will find a set of subjects or Temas available to you, rather like school subjects, except you will find they are all in Spanish. Each Tema or Theme has been specially created to show you aspects of Spanish speaking cultures that you may not be familiar with. Select the Tema that interests you and there you will find the bank of learning materials ready for you to explore.

HOW DO I LEARN?

You learn by losing yourself in the subject matter and letting the actual content of what you are listening to (escuche), reading (lectura) or grammar (gramática) absorb you. Don't worry about understanding every word; just let the material captivate your imagination. Try the exercises. These help to cement your knowledge and reinforce a lot of the language.

HOW DO I START?
