Achilles heel
The achilles is well known to many sportsmen due to injuries to the tendon by the same name. The term is also used to refer to any weak spot and derives from Achilles himself, who was a classical Greek hero whose mother held him by the heel when she dipped him in the River Styx to make him invincible. She had to hold him by some part of his anatomy!
